Se da cuenta del hallazgo de un yacimiento arqueológico histórico (novena década del siglo XIX), identificado como el primer sitio conocido para la época del comienzo de la colonización pastoril en el territorio magallánico, cuyos restos proporcionan información sobre las formas y hábitos de vida cotidiana de una familia pionera. El sitio presenta también evidencias de presencia indígena contemporánea y sobre este antecedente se comenta la relación amistosa que debió darse entre los aborígenes y los colonizadores.
The finding of an archeological historical site (ninth decade of the XIX Century), identified as the first one known for the period of the begining of the pastoral colonization in the magellanic territory, whose remains give information on the forms and habits of the everyday life of a pioneering family is reported. The site also shows evidences of contemporaneous indian presence and on this antecedent the friendly relationship wiich might have been carried between aborigines and colonists is commented.
