Se presentan las variaciones del tiempo ocurridas durante 1992 en el área de la ciudad de Punta Arenas, destacando sus principales características, en función del comportamiento de las variables atmosféricas de superficie, en relación a los valores normales y de acuerdo con la época del año. Se entregan las variables procesadas estadísticamente en tablas resúmenes, de manera de obtener una mejor comprensión de los fenómenos ocurridos. En los casos de mayor complejidad de interpretación, las variaciones se representan en forma gráfica.
The variations of weather conditions during 1992 at the city of Punta Arenas are reported, emphasizing their main characteristics in function of the behavior of the atmospheric-surface variables, in relation with the normal values and accordingly with the seasons. The statistical analyzed variables are given in tables, as to obtain a better understanding of the occurred phenomena the variability along the year is graphically represented.
