Resumen
Se enfoca el estudio de los restos paleontológicos recuperados en cuatro campañas arqueológicas en Cueva del Medio. Sobre la base del estudio de los elementos anatómicos sistemáticamente significativos se estudia la determinación para cada taxón y el Número Mínimo de Individuos. Considerando a la fauna como una variable ambiental importante para el estudio de las sociedades del pasado se plantea una hipótesis sobre la relación con el hombre, explotación y utilización.
On basis of the study of systematicaly representative anatomical elements recuperated during four field campaigns at Cueva del Medio, the identification of taxa and the Minimal Number of Individual are determined. Considering the fauna as an important environmental variable for the study of past human societies, an hypothesis is put forward on its relation with man, exploitation and utilization.
