Analizamos el conjunto artefactual lítico de C3T.C1 asociado a importantes fogones con datación radiocarbónica Pleistocénica. Se realizó el análisis tecnomorfológico y funcional del conjunto, procurando determinar en primera instancia las variaciones en la clasificación tipológica. Esto es, conocer en que
medida los instrumentos fueron destinados a la función asignada y establecer qué artefactos no formatizados como instrumentos, fueron utilizados. A partir de esta información y de la derivada del análisis estructural de este componente se trata de establecer la funcionalidad del mismo. También, se compara tecnológica y funcionalmente con el Nivel 11 de Los Toldos y El Ceibo, conjuntos artefactuales de la Meseta Central Santacruceña que cuentan con análisis funcionales.
We analyze a lithic assemblage from C3T.C1, associated to important hearths which were C14 dated as belonged to Pleistocenic times. Those artifacts were technologically and functionally analyzed to establish the typological variation between former morphologic and technological classification and functional one. In this way we try to establish if artifacts were used accordingly to the type defined. and also find what artifact not defined technologically as instrument were used. From these results plus structural component analysis, we try to define site functionality. Finally this assemblage is compared to Nivel 11 type from Los Toldos and El Ceibo, assemblages from Meseta Central Santacruceña that were function ally analyzed.
