Se da cuenta de la presencia de tres nuevas especies de aves en Magallanes. Chile.
Una de estas, el pato negro (Netta peposaca), había sido observada con anterioridad en Magallanes. La nota hace presente el primer registro con evidencia. Las otras dos notas dan cuenta de la presencia aparentemente accidental de chorlo vuelvepiedras (Arenaria interpres morinella) y de petrel gigante (Macronectes halli).
The presence of three new species of birds is reponed for southern Magallanes, Chile. One of these, the Rosy-Billed Pochard (Netta peposaca) had been previously observed in Magallanes. The present note reports the first proven specimen. The other two notes report the apparently accidental occurences of Ruddy Turnstone (Arenaria interpres morinella) and Giant Petrel (Macronectes halli).
