En noviembre de 1983 se relevaron fitosociológicamente algunas localidades costeras de la Península Muñoz Gamero, Magallanes, Chile, ubicada entre las
coordenadas 52° y 53° Sur y 72° 30' y 73° 45' oeste aproximadamente, describiéndose formaciones vegetales turbosas, boscosas, arbustivas y herbáceas.
Se señalan los efectos antrópicos más evidentes en el paisaje, y se comentan
aspectos geográficos y sintaxonómicos de las unidades vegetacionales descritas.
In november, 1983, some coastal localities of the Muñoz Gamero Peninsula, located between 52°-53° S and 72° 30' - 73° 45' W in Magallanes, Chile, were phytosociologically surveyed. The following vegetation units are described: bog, forest, shrub and herbaceaus formations. Antropogenic effects on the landscape are indicated, and phytogeographycal and syntaxonomical subjects related with the vegetation units are commented.
