Cuatro nuevas especies de aves para Magallanes

Abstract

This paper reports four new species of birds for the province of Magallanes; Parabuteo unicinctus unicinctus, Crocethia alba, Leptasthenura aegithaloides aegithaloides and Hirundo rustica erythrogaster. It is suggested that P. u. unicinctus and L. a. aegithaloides are resident species in suitable habitat, the former throughout the province and the latter in the northern portion. Crocethia alba is considered an occasional, non breeding visitor to Magallanes and H. r. erythrogaster as probably a rather common non breeding visitor.
